Then And Now

I had to start somewhere with these drawings. And that 'somewhere'  happens to be way back in the middle 1980's when I first started to draw my own cartoon characters, rather than someone else's. Over the years, I seem to have gotten better at it, something that you can see for yourself in the links below.
On the 'Way Back When' side are the oldest drawings I know to exist of my primary character group. Since they were created over a period going as far back as 14 years ago, expect the quality to start at abysmal, and go up from there. On the 'The Way It Is Now' side, are pix that I drew specifically for this page. Bear with me on these, since they represent my first solid foray into the technique of inking penciled drawings using a brush. To make the comparison easier, I've drawn the present-day characters dressed similar to their early incarnations.  The modern versions were done in brush-ink with  a combination of Prismacolor/ Eberhard Faber/ Tria markers.
